Eleanor Audley was an American actress.

Biography[]

Born Eleanor Zellman in New York City, she began her career as a radio actress, frequently appearing on anthology shows such as Suspense and Escape. She made her most notable voice appearances as Disney villainesses Lady Tremaine and Maleficent in Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty respectively.

Audley was also a frequently seen face on television, on such series as I Love Lucy, The Twilight Zone and Dennis the Menace.

She passed away in 1991.

Audley sang in a handful of roles, generally in her television appearances; performing "This is the Way We Go to School" on The Beverly Hillbillies and both "Juanita" and "The Last Rose of Summer" in Hazel.
