David Ford was an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in La Jolla, California, Ford began as a stage actor and made his Broadway debut in 1957 in a revival of Mary Reilly, before taking over as The Duke of Norfolk in A Man For All Seasons. His best known work, however, came with his appearances as Sam Evans and Andre du Pres in the television series Dark Shadows.
He passed away in 1983.

Ford made his sole singing appearances whilst associated with 1776 in which he originated the role of John Hancock (and later took over as John Dickinson) and reprised the role for the film adaptation.
