Dan Hedaya is an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he made his screen debut in 1979 after working as a high school teacher and appeared in a number of television series, including Cheers (as Nick Tortelli, which led to a role in the short-lived spin-off The Tortellis), E.R. and Monk.
As well as his television roles, Hedaya appeared as a character actor in several films, notably Commando, Wise Guys and Joe Versus the Volcano, as well as Sergeant Rabin in The Usual Suspects and Richard Nixon in Dick.

Hedaya sang briefly in his recurring role as Nick in Cheers, performing "Call Me Irresponsible."
