Cuba Gooding Jr. is an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in The Bronx, New York to actor/singer Cuba Gooding Sr., he was a breakdancer for Lionel Ritchie and had guest roles in MacGyver, Amen and Hill Street Blues. He then appeared in such major films as Boyz N the Hood, A Few Good Men and gave an Academy Award winning performance in the comedy Jerry Maguire.
Following this role, Gooding appeared in a wide mixture of films including the comedies Rat Race and Daddy Day Camp, provided voices in Home on the Range and had grittier roles in Red Tails, The Butler and Selma.
Singing[]
Gooding sang the song "What's Going On?" in Jerry Maguire and sang part of the "Yellow Belly Bounce" in The Land Before Time XIII: The Wisdom of Friends. He also appeared as Billy Flynn in the London production of Chicago.
