Chris Barrie is an English actor.
Biography[]
Born Christopher Brown in Hanover, West Germany, he gained notice as an impressionist in such series as Spitting Image (notably voicing then current President Ronald Reagan) as well as playing Gordon Brittas in The Brittas Empire and Arnold Rimmer in Red Dwarf.
Barrie also had guest appearances in such series as Blackadder, Filthy, Rich & Catflap and The Young Ones as well as appearing in such films as the Tomb Raider series in which he played the butler.
Singing[]
As well as performing several songs on Spitting Image, Barrie briefly sang "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" and "Tongue Tied" in Red Dwarf and appeared as Ronald Reagan in the 1984 song "Two Tribes" by Frankie Goes Hollywood.
