Charlotte Rae was an American actress.
Biography[]
Born Charlotte Lubotsky in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she apprenticed with the Port Players and moved to New York to work onstage.
Singing[]
Rae performed in a number of stage musicals, originating roles in Three Wishes for Jamie and Li'l Abner, as well as appearing in Minnie's Boys, 70, Girls, 70 and Berthe in Pippin.
Rae also performed onscreen, singing "Queen Aggie's School" as Agatha Crackle in The Worst Witch and "Money is Such a Beautiful Word" in Tom and Jerry: The Movie.
