Charlie Sheen is an American actor. His father is actor Martin Sheen.

Biography[]

Born Carlos Irwin Estévez in New York City, he made his uncredited screen debut in 1973 and gained early success for his roles as Chris Taylor in Platoon and Bud Fox in Wall Street. He also appeared in (among others) the films Young Guns, The Three Musketeers and Machete Kills, as well as providing the voice of Charlie B. Barkin in All Dogs Go to Heaven.

Sheen also had several large roles on television, appearing in the series Beyond the Law and Anger Management as well as playing the lead character in Two and a Half Men.

Sheen sang in two film roles, in No Man's Land and A Glimpse in the Mind of Charles Swan III as well as numerous times in Two and a Half Men, with sections from "Sherry Baby", "Hooked on a Feeling" and "Hit the Road, Jack" amongst others.
