Cary Elwes is an English actor.
Biography[]
Born Ivan Elwes in Westminster, London, he moved to New York and studied at such prestigious schools as the Sarah Lawrence College and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Initially working as a production assistant, he made his debut in 1984 and his breakthrough role as Westley in 1987's The Princess Bride.
Elwes had a number of major film appearances, including the title role in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Cradle Will Rock and Saw. He also appeared in several television roles including The X-Files, Law and Order and the miniseries Pope John Paul II.

Elwes made one onscreen singing appearance in the children's film, in which he performed the song "Wobble With Your Wiggle."
