Cameron Diaz is an American actress.

Biography[]

Born in San Diego, California, Diaz began as a model before making her big break into acting with The Mask, playing Tina Carlyle. She soon became critically acclaimed for her performances in There's Something About Mary and Being John Malkovich and made a number of appearances in comedies, as well as voicing Princess Fiona in the Shrek series.

Though best known for her comedy roles, Diaz also appeared in such varied productions as Gangs of New York and The Counselor, as well co-writing the succesful health work The Body Book.

Singing[]

Diaz sang briefly in a number of her early films (though she was dubbed in The Mask and the Shrek), such as My Best Friend's Wedding and Vanilla Sky. She also sang several comic numbers during her appearances on Saturday Night Live.

Diaz's largest singing role came with the 2014 remake of Annie, in which she played Miss Hannigan.
