Brian Davies is a Welsh actor.

Biography[]

Born in Rhondda Valley, Wales, Davies began as a stage actor and received his big break in the original cast of The Sound of Music. After this he made frequent guest appearances on television in series including Wonder Woman and All My Children, as well as several BBC and ITV plays For Today.

In later years, Davies made several big screen appearances, playing small roles in (among others) Mickey Blue Eyes and Age of Innocence.

Singing[]

Davies appeared in several musical roles, originating the roles of Rolf in The Sound of Music and Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. In 1999 he sang in the film Man of the Century, the same year he made his return to musicals with James Joyce's The Dead.
