Bobby Cannavale is an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Union City, New Jersey, Cannavale began acting in the theatre despite having no formal training before making his screen debut in 1996. He soon became recognised after a number of television appearances on such shows as Third Watch, 100 Centre Street and Boardwalk Empire.
Cannavale soon moved into film roles, appearing in Snakes On a Plane and Ant-Man (where he played police detective Jim Paxton), as well as gaining further success onstage (and a Tony Award nomination) for his role in Mauritius.
Singing[]
In addition to appearing on stage in The Music Man and Guys and Dolls respectively; Cannavale sang in two motion pictures, as Fryburg in the karaoke musical Romance & Cigarettes and as sleazy agent Guy Danlily in 2014's Annie.
