Billy Zane is an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he studied at the Harand Camp of Theatre Arts and made his screen debut in the first two Back to the Future films as a henchman. He went on to star in increasingly larger roles; beginning with the low budget Megaville before moving onto the blockbusters The Phantom and Titanic, in which he played Caledon Hockley.
As well as film acting, Zane appeared in television productions such as Tales from the Crypt and Charmed, as well as providing voices for Disney in the Pocahontas and Kingdom Hearts series.
Singing[]
Zane sang in a number of varied productions, including whilst voicing John Rolfe in Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World and playing Drake in Charmed, in which he sang "Everything's Kind of Good."
He also appeared in two musicals on stage, playing Billy Flynn in Chicago and Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music.
