Billy Crystal is an American actor and comedian.
Biography[]
Born in New York City, New York, Crystal studied at New York University's School of Fine Arts and worked on the comedy circuit before appearing on television and films such as This is Spinal Tap and The Princess Bride before gaining recognition in Soap and a breakout role as Harry Burns in When Harry Met Sally...
Crystal became a popular star of such comedies as City Slickers, Analyse This and America's Sweethearts as well as providing the voice of Mike Wazowski in the Monsters Inc. films. He also became well known for hosting the Academy Awards for the second largest number of occasions.

Crystal first sang during his 1984 appearance on Saturday Night Live before performing "The Surrey With the Fringe on Top" as part of a duet between the titular characters in When Harry Met Sally... He also performed "In You When I Did Love" in Hamlet, and duetted on the Academy Award winning song "If I Didn't Have You" in Monsters Inc.
