Bill Buell is a Taiwanese born American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Taipai, Taiwan, Buell became a popular performer in off-Broadway shows, though he sometimes performed in larger scale musicals.
Buell also acted in a number of films including Requiem for a Dream and God's Pocket as well as making television guest appearances Law & Order. He voiced the hitman Vito Scaletta in the video game Mafia and played Bill Binder in Grand Theft Auto V.
Singing[]
Buell sang in a number of Broadway and off-Broadway musicals, originating small roles in The First and Alias Jimmy Valentine as well as that of Gus Bottomly in Welcome to the Club.
Buell appeared in the original casts of The Who's Tommy and Titanic (in which he played Edgar Beane) as well as performing "Love Smiles" in the arthouse film The American Astronaut. He appeared in the Atlanta production of Tuck Everlasting as Constable Joe, but was replaced before the Broadway opening.
