Ben Affleck is an American actor and director.
Biography[]
Born Benjamin Affleck-Boldt in Berkeley, California, he made his film debut aged seven and had success as a child appearing in the television series The Voyage of the Mimi . As an adult, Affleck would gain recognition working under Kevin Smith in Chasing Amy and Dogma, as well as appearing in blockbusters such as Armageddon and Pearl Harbour. Affleck was more critically acclaimed for acting in and co-writing Good Will Hunting with childhood friend Matt Damon.
After a series of flops, Affleck made a critically acclaimed directorial debut with Gone Baby Gone, followed by the Academy Award winning Argo. He continued to receive success in films such as Gone Girl and as Batman in the DC Universe films.

Affleck sang briefly in several films, including Armageddon, where he leads his fellow workers/astronauts in a rendition of "Leaving on a Jet Plane" and twice performing festive songs, namely "The Little Drummer Boy" and "O Christmas Tree" in Reindeer Games and Surviving Christmas respectively. He also assisted in the parody song "I'm F*cking Ben Affleck" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
