Arthur Malet was an English actor.
Biography[]
Born Vivian Malet in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, he first achieved prominence onstage and won two Drama Desk Awards in 1957. He would go on to appear in a number of films, including In the Heat of the Night, Young Frankenstein and Halloween.
Also going on to make several television appearances, such as in Columbo and Bewitched, Malet became best known for his voice acting roles in films such as The Black Cauldron and The Secret of NIMH.
He passed away in 2013.

Malet sang in three productions, as the bank manager Mr Dawes Jr. in Mary Poppins, singing two traditional songs in Barney Miller and during his reprisal of the role of Mr. Ages The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue.
