Anthony Ainley was an English actor.
Biography[]
Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Ainley attended RADA and made his uncredited film debut in 1942, following this with later film appearances in Inspector Clouseau, The Blood on Satan's Claw and The Land That Time Forgot.
Ainley was best known for his television roles, particularly that of arch-villain The Master in Doctor Who, though he also appeared in such shows as The Pallisers and Spyder's Web.
Ainley passed away in 2004.
