Alice Ghostley was an American actress.
Biography[]
Born in Eve, Vernon County, she made her Broadway debut in New Faces of 1952 among other stage musical roles. She appeared in numerous television productions, including Car 54, Where Are You?, Bewitched and The Julie Andrews Hour.
Ghostley also had roles in -amongst others- the motion pictures To Kill a Mockingbird, The Graduate and Grease.
Ghostley passed away in 2007.

Ghostley was a veteran musical actress, having roles in the original casts of Sandhog, Shangri-La and Alice and appearing in the musical film Cinderella. She also took over the role of Miss Hannigan in Annie during the original Broadway run.
